As labour costs rise in China, some of the world’s biggest manufacturers are getting a big bang for their buck in Vietnam.

When completed in 2018, the mill will make Vietnam the company’s largest production base, bigger than a site in China’s Dongguan. It will employ 16,000–TAL’s current global workforce is 26,000.
