This contact continued even after his retirement as he was quite active in various textile bodies like, The Textile Association (India) and The Association of Chemical Technologists (India) of which he was one of the Founder members. He was also on the Advisory Board of New Cloth Market and actively supported our activities.

During last 15 years, he was living in Rajkot. Initially he worked as a freelance textile consultant in Jetpur area. But from the last 7-8 years, he was not keeping well and his movements were mainly confined to his house. A few years ago, his family had expressed a desire to reproduce an article about him which was published in the Colourage. We couldn’t do so then but today, we are reproducing it as a mark of our respect for the deceased.

We offer our condolences to the family members. May God give them strength to bear this tragic loss. RIP.
