Mango invests 42 million euros in the creation of its new corporate campus

The company continues its transformation with the creation of a new corporate park at the company’s facilities in Palau-solità i Plegamans (Barcelona). The new Campus Mango will serve as an engine of transformation and evolution for the organization, aligned with its company culture.

The
project will involve a total investment of 42 million euros, half of which has already been carried out with the renovation of some of the buildings located at the company’s headquarters. The rest of the investment will go to the construction of a new 20,000 m2 office space. Mango plans to start work on this new space at the end of 2021. The Mango Campus will be fully operational in 2024. The Mango Campus will have a total area of ​​93,400 m2 , 61,000 m2 of which will be used for offices. It is conceived as an R + D + I center that maximizes the professional development of all Mango employeesand that, in addition, guarantees the flexibility necessary to face the changing future needs of the company. For Toni Ruiz , Mango CEO , “ the new Campus Mango must be a driver of change for the organization. We want to promote a new work model that allows all our collaborators to work in accordance with the customer centricity strategy, which should govern all our decisions and initiatives. We are committed to building a company culture empowering our employees to lead the initiatives that will become the main levers of change for the company ”.

The Campus Mango will serve as a gateway to attract both national and international talent and promote it through the optimal tools that professionals need to carry out their work, both through the design of spaces and the provision of the latest technologies. With this project, Mango intends to create a reference ecosystem and go one step further in the way of working. Campus Mango wants to generate a new way of collaborating, connecting, learning and innovating within the organization. The flexible, open and inclusive spaces will be designed to promote collaboration and community creation, as well as to promote the well-being of all employees with an integrated and unique culture. Will be builtan environment in which digital and analog coexist and that, at the same time, inspires all collaborators to enhance creativity.

Building with sustainable characteristics

Following the bet Mango by sustainability as one of its strategic priorities, criteria for building new offices include measures to improve efficiency in energy consumption through the use of sunlight or energy – saving lighting. It also provides for the production of photovoltaic energy, the use of consumption monitoring systems and the installation of electrical charging points for the vehicles of its collaborators.
