Conducted research particular to State of Maharashtra under Technology Mission on Technical Textiles scheme and established two demo centres to study the effect and rise in productivity due to use of agro textile products at Amravati, Maharashtra. The demo centres were at KrishiVigyan Kendra (KVK) Ghatkhed and KrishiVigyan Kendra (KVK) Durgapur in Amravati District.
The Bombay Textile Research Association (BTRA) Mumbai
Conducted adequacy audits for 10 Textile processing units in Maharashtra as per Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) requirement.
Developed the training module for in depth training on “ETP, water recycling and sustainable technology for the textile industry. This has been approved by National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI) and Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB).

Apart from this, with a view to position the country as a global leader in Technical Textiles, National Technical Textiles Mission(NTTM) has been created at a total outlay of Rs.1,480 Crore, with a four year implementation period from FY 2020-21 to 2023-24.
