Preparation of Degraded Corn Starch and Its Rheological Behavior |
12/27/2018 |
| 279 |
|
Abstract: The preparation and properties of degraded corn starch were studied by using corn starch as a raw material, ammonium persulfate as oxidant, sodium hydrogen sulfite as reducing agent and hydrochloric acid as an acidulate agent. The effects of reaction time, reaction temperature and reagent dosages on the rheological behavior of degraded corn starch were investigated. The degradation of corn starch was carried out in three different ways, and starch with lower viscosity could be obtained in a shorter time, which retained starch particle and had good rheological property. When hydrochloric acid and ammonium persulfate were used as the degrading agent, acid hydrolysis and oxidation were simultaneously performed during the reaction, which can shorten the reaction time and improve the reaction efficiency. When the ammonium persulfate sodium bisulfite redox system was used to degrade the starch, the initiation rate was fast at a low temperature with sufficient reaction and high efficiency. The effect of using ammonium persulfate only to degrade starch is relatively poor. |

Abstract: This paper discusses the water-repellent and anti-static finish of polyester fabrics and polyamide fabrics. The fabrics were finished by using antistatic agent DM-3724 and waterproof agent 9033 in one bath and the interplay between waterproof effect and antistatic effect was investigated. The test results show that the waterproof effect tends to be weak with the increase of dosage of antistatic agent, especially occurs in polyester fabrics; on the other hand, with the increase of dosage of waterproof agent, the antistatic effect of polyester fabrics gradually improved, while the polyamide fabrics was opposite. Water-repellent and antistatic one-bath process could endow the fabrics with good waterproof effect and antistatic effect, through adjusting dosage of the agents. |

Abstract: Since existing honeycomb fabric with density gradient is still formed by bonding layers of different densities, there are some problems such as discontinuous fabric structure and easily-separated interface. By using textile technology, integral three-dimensional honeycomb fabric with density gradient can be directly prepared. Such fabric with connections between layers and gradual density variation can be obtained by weave design and it is mainly reflected in the gradual change in the size of honeycomb hole along the thickness direction and warp-wise direction of the fabric. Finally an 8-layer three-dimensional honeycomb fabric with density gradient was successfully woven, which has obvious density gradient and the diameter of honeycomb hole between two gradients is about 2?1. |
