Messe Frankfurt France is actively preparing the opening of the Texworld Evolution Paris showroom. The second edition of this event, which will take place from 5 to 9 July in the heart of the fashion capital, is thinking big: it will be possible to discover live almost 7,000 samples offered by more than 150 manufacturers. The autumn-winter 2022-2023 trends will be unveiled on this occasion in a completely redesigned space.

Meet up… Again! Exchange ideas with other professionals, discover new creative approaches, decipher future trends, measure the quality of a cuttingedge offer of fabrics and finished garments, exchange with manufacturers… All this will be possible once again from 5 to 9 July, in the heart of Paris, with Texworld Evolution Paris – Le Showroom. This format of professional meetings, imagined and successfully developed by Messe Frankfurt France, will allow to take advantage of the end of the crisis by relaunching the exchanges with the manufacturers of fabrics and finished products, while respecting the sanitary constraints.

More than 7,000 samples directly available

The range of fabrics and garments, selected by the Messe Frankfurt France teams from a panel of international suppliers, will be expanded to offer a wide range of choices for imagining and building the sourcing of the autumn-winter 2022-2023 collections. A total of 7,000 samples from manufacturers in ten countries will be directly accessible to visitors.

Chinese, Turkish and Indian textile products to discover Chinese, Turkish, Bangladeshi, Korean, Polish, Pakistani and Indian manufacturers have already registered for this session. Taiwan will participate for the first time. The digital tablets made available to visitors will once again facilitate direct contact with manufacturers for expressions of interest, requests for samples or quotations.

A winter 2022-2023 trendbook to build the collections

As every year, and even more so with the specific format of the Showroom, the trendbook drawn up by Louis Gérin and Grégory Lamaud, the artistic directors of Texworld Evolution Paris, will serve as the architecture for the event. The space will be organised around the four main axes that will feed the creative breath of the winter 2022-2023 collections: resistance, first of all, with its procession of “earthy” tones; elevation, which will take us into the azure, the aerial; osmosis, as an attempt to get closer to nature; and finally, enjoyment, presented with an explosion of fresh and (re)invigorating colours. “The human being had gone to sleep, convinced that he was not part of the solution. He wakes up and, with him, his thirst for discovery.” A manifesto that opens up a world to be (re)discovered.

As in February, buyers will be admitted by invitation, in order to ensure an adequate flow of visitors. Registration is now open and can be accessed from the Texworld Evolution Paris website.

For those unable to visit the showroom, the experience continues online thanks to the digital sourcing platform developed by Messe Frankfurt France with its partner Foursource.

Providing maximum convenience for visitors, Apparel Sourcing, Avantex, Leatherworld and Texworld Paris belong to the cluster of related trade shows organised by Messe Frankfurt France, held in one and the same location, on the same dates and where entry is free upon presentation of professional credentials.
