Mumbai, August 2026: The Textile Association (India), Mumbai Unit is set to organize a one-day seminar on “Future Trends in Technical Textiles” on Saturday, 22 August 2026, at Hotel Fortune Park Galaxy, Vapi, Gujarat. The seminar is designed to provide a comprehensive platform for industry professionals, technology providers, researchers, academics and other stakeholders to examine the rapidly evolving technical textiles landscape, identify emerging opportunities and discuss the innovations and strategies that will shape the sector in the years ahead.

Technical textiles are increasingly becoming an important area of growth and innovation, with applications extending far beyond conventional textile and apparel products. Reflecting this broad spectrum, the seminar will address developments across a wide range of application areas, including agrotextiles, buildtech, clothtech, geotech, hometech, indutech, meditech, mobiltech, oekotech, packtech, protech and sportech. The event’s programme is intended to highlight how textile-based materials and technologies are increasingly contributing to agriculture, infrastructure, healthcare, transportation, environmental protection, packaging, industrial applications, sports and personal protection.

The Textile Association (India), Mumbai Unit, which is organizing the seminar, is the largest unit of the Association, with around 4,000 members.
