Colorant- Color Root participated in the recently concluded Interdye China -2013 – China International Dye Industry, Pigments and Textile Chemicals Exhibition – which was held at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center [April 17 – 19, 2013].
This was COLORANT’s first joint presence with COLOR ROOT in this prestigious exhibition after the company entered into a landmark partnership MoU last year with the later for the marketing of Fluorine based Reactive dyes.Colorant Limited an ISO 14001:2004 & ISO 9001:2008 Company based at Ahmedabad and well-known for it’s Colron range of high efficiency reactive dyes – is poised to become first Indian Company to offer it’s clients in India and overseas a range of Fluorine based Reactive dyes.

Color Root is a young but one of the fastest growing dyestuff companies in the dyestuff world. With their first phase of construction completed for a capacity of 20,000 tons of dyestuffs, they are now working on Phase II to reach a capacity of 30,000 MT per year. China is a great country in terms of the manufacture of dyes, dyeing and printing and textile articles and the consumption. The whole world is showing more and more concern for the dye, dyestuff and textile industries in China. As the future center of international economy, finance, trade and navigation. Interdye China is one of the major events for Global dyestuff Industry. All captains of the industries have been regularly participating as exhibitors in this yearly event.
This year again China occupied more than 70% space through its strong contingent of more than 300 exhibitors and India was second through its more than 40 exhibitors under the banner of Indian Pavilion organized by the Chemexcil. This time the Indian Pavilion was having a grand look and was appreciated by most visitors who visited the Interdye. Germany, Korea, The Netherlands, USA, Japan, Switzerland, Spain, Singapore, Italy, and UK also participated in this exhibition.
Apart from the exhibition, technical seminars were also organized during the show. This provided a useful platform to showcase new products and processes for textile and allied industries. The topics of seminar were eco certifications, pigments and master batches, special finishes and performance chemicals.
Colorant Limited an ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001: 2004 accredited company engaged in manufacturing and export of “Colron” range of Reactive Dyes was awarded “First award in recognition of excellent performance in Exports of Dyestuffs by a Small Scale unit for year 2011-2012” by The Dyestuffs Manufacturers’ Association of India (DMAI), at a function held at MUMBAI last year. The Trophy was received by Mr. Subhash Bhargava, Managing Director through the hands of Dr. Kavita Gupta, Additional Director General of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.
The booth of Color Root – Colorant was visited by large number of delegates from countries like Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Turkey, China, Korea, Brazil, Taiwan etc. The response was encouraging.
